History

Practical Playground began as High Priestesses, which was a dream between andra vltavín and ash good to bring together healing modalities under one banner, weaving together a variety of practitioners and their offerings—a modern temple space, if you will. High Priestesses rebranded as Space Mermaids and has now settled into Practical Playground, collecting a holistic imagination of culture-based weaving between thresholds and existing systems of care. andra now primarily stewards the space with invitations for other facilitators and practitioners to come share their wisdom. ash and andra continue to co-create the Align Your Orbit series.

Purpose

We want to birth a new culture, one that honors the lost traditions of the past while bridging toward a more brilliant and regenerative future. In this moment, we need novel systems of care, collaborative group structures, and creative experiments toward the end of capitalism, the dismantling of hierarchy, and a return to the animacy of the living world. By building networks of resources and providing countless tools, we sing a love song to our ancestors and our descendants. Our most vibrant futures are playful and full of life.
