If you would like to seek certification as a sociocracy facilitator to show up in your group spaces to empower others, andra will be offering a 40-hour course on sociocracy, after which you come out with certification through Sociocracy for All. This course will take place for two hours a week for five months during which you will get hands-on practice in sociocracy and peer governance, including the following:
Vision, mission, aims, and domains
Circle structures and roles
Proposals, practicing consent, and integrating objections
Selection (election) processes
Equity, participation, and inclusion
Meeting format, minutes, backlogs, and policy logs
Social-emotional challenges
Giving and receiving feedback
The schedule of the course is TBD 2027 depending on interest and student availability. The cost will be $500 per person with discounts for people joining with a group of three or more.
